Renovation on Carrer Maria Cristina, 10 in Tarragona

When this home came into our hands, we clearly saw its potential. It was a corner flat, small but with high ceilings and many possibilities. The complete renovation allowed us to transform it entirely, opting for a more open and functional layout.

We removed the partitions between the spaces to create a large social area where the living room, the dining room and the open kitchen come together. Everything revolves around the light and the sense of spaciousness, despite the small surface area.

The original hydraulic-tile flooring was very damaged, but we didn’t want to lose its memory entirely. Instead of keeping it on the floor, we turned it into a feature on the wall, preserving its colours and shape as a tribute to the home’s origins.
